Transacta — a new name for our global expansion

After more than seven years of operating in the market as TRANSCRYPT OÜ, we are entering a new stage of public visibility — accompanied by new partnerships, full rebranding and the launch of our new identity: Transacta.

Back in 2018 Transacta (previously Transcrypt OÜ) was founded in Tallinn, Estonia, with the vision to build its own compliant crypto payment infrastructure. 

But sometimes a company outgrows the place where it started. That’s exactly where we are today. Over the past years, we’ve focused on building infrastructure, regulatory coverage, and secure payment rails. What began as a regional provider has evolved into a global payments platform serving high-value businesses across Europe, Switzerland, the U.S., and beyond.

To match the scale of what’s ahead, we’re evolving into a unified global brand. Our new name reflects that evolution to a comprehensive ecosystem built for global commerce.

The transition marks the beginning of a more open, public, and collaborative chapter for our brand. We’re excited to share more about what’s coming next — and grateful to everyone who has supported this journey so far.
